The Castle Point Neighborhood has received a million dollar grant through the Department of Justice, to increase safety & conduct research. On the list: infrastructure, cross walks, add pedestrian lights, surveillance cameras, commission youth 14 - 18 to paint creative pictures to board up 30 vacant properties. The St. Louis County Police Planning & Analysis will administer the grant funds over the next three years. This grant is specifically for the above items and can not take the place of the missions & goals are for the Neighborhood Association. One of the goal is for the Neighborhood Association is to comprehensively update the 1999 Neighborhood Plan. What would you like to see as a resource for homeowner/renter?
The Castle Point Neighborhood Association is a non - profit organization working together with other organizations, residents, and government departments to host events, meetings, provide crime preventative information, build a safe, healthy environment for residents in Castle Point. To do, so we need volunteers to donate their time, skills and raise money for the growth of this neighborhood. Please know, the money we raise will be spent in the community to help maintain committee projects in Castle Point.
